Monkey Bread
These amazing treats are really easy to make!
Ingredients:
- 1 roll Pillsbury (or any other brand) biscuits (see image below)
- melted butter
- sugar and cinnamon mixture (I like a 2:1, sugar:cinnamon ratio but adjust as needed)
- muffin tin
- cupcake liners
Directions:
1. Preheat oven according to directions on biscuit roll
2. Prepare your muffin tin: place cupcake liners in each spot
3. Open the biscuits and cut each biscuit in 4 small pieces
4. Place cinnamon - sugar mixture in a medium bowl
5. Melt butter in a medium bowl (I like to use small amounts at a time because it is easier to work with and hard to determine how much you will end up needing).
6. Line up everything in this order from left to right (or right to left if you're left handed): biscuits, butter, cinnamon-sugar, muffin tin
7. Roll each cut piece of the biscuit into a ball. Working with 4 balls at a time, cover it in butter, then cinnamon-sugar and finally arrange in the muffin tin. I place 4 small balls in one cupcake liner to make mini "cupcakes"
8. When all are done, place in the oven and bake according to directions on the biscuit roll!
Pillsbury biscuits:
Good Luck!
Good evening fellow bloggers and crafters!
Over the past few months I have been reading many blogs (most that I find through Pinterest) and I thought I should share my craft and baking creations.
But first, a little bit about me...
I grew up in Southern California, spent a year abroad in Paris during undergrad and moved to Cleveland for law school. I will be starting my second year this fall (yay class of 2015!) I have always loved to bake and do crafts but during the last year I have not been able to do as many because of school. Luckily it's summer time and I have evenings and weekends free to re-discover my inner Martha Stewart (minus all that illegal stuff)! So for now, I am working full-time, gyming, baking, learning how to cook and of course crafting.
I'm going to do my best to post clear instructions that are easy to follow. If you don't understand a step or want me to clarify, please comment and I will respond!
xoxo
